Chicago – Local Chicago area residents are concerned about a possible U.S. downgrade by Moody’s over America’s debt concerns. The financial rating service is considering reducing America’s triple A credit rating, if the U.S. fails to raise its $14.3 trillion borrowing limit to avoid default. The White House and Congress must meet an August 2 nd deadline before the threat of a possible default arises. Local Chicago area business investors are concerned that the United States could possibly be in a position to default on bond payments. “There is a concern, that the greatest superpower in the world would fall behind drastically by missing a payment on its debt,” says Lloyd Bowman, owner of online internet station Chicago House Radio. “In turn, this would weaken the strength of an already beaten down U.S. dollar.” Investors are feeling the pinch on Wall Street. The euro strengthened versus the dollar Wednesday upon Moody’s announcement.

Delivering Bad News Tactfully and Effectively A professional and courteous approach is the best route to start. Companies have procedures and policies for employees to comply. According to those policies, mangers should approach disruptive employees in line with those procedures. As department manger, I would schedule an interview with the employee. My first concern would be the overall health of the employee. I would ask how things were going. Are there any health issues? Is everything going well at home? Are there any issues or concerns with the company or other employees? After addressing any issues, I would explain the employee’s behavior and the disruption it is causing. Selecting my words carefully, I would reiterate company policy and explain how he has violated it with his behavior. The advancement of technology has presented many different media tools. Digital technology has made the resources we use simpler. “ Usually, when a computer user refers to digital media , she is referring to the type of audio-visual media” (Bliss, 2011). The invention of compact disc reduced and even eliminated cassette tapes and floppy disk. Now large data files can be stored on cds and retrieved from any computer. Files, like music or videos, can take up a large amount of storage space. By compressing those files, like audio into mp3, users can store even more data. This allows creators to create Power Point and flash presentations on cd or dvd (digital video disk) and present them to their respective audiences. We have also seen increases in hardware and software capabilities. Gramophonedzie (who debuted in 2010 with "Why Don't You") returns with another stellar performance with "No Sugar". Coproduced with superstar phenom Joey Negro a.k.a. Dave Lee, the vocal on this joint is the dealmaker. Vocalist Shea Soul jazzes things up with her big band, swing appeal. Upon first hearing the track, I thought it was some classic Doo Wop sample from the '50s. Not so. Shea Soul's delivery throughout cleared that thought. Her point to this guy in the lyrics is "make me mad and you will see how the sugar will be." Ouch! Gramophonedzie's drum structure pounds the earth's crust with ferocity. Similar to his earlier release "Out Of My Head" , "No Sugar" corresponds to the listener's tastes in the same way. I'm not sure what role Joey Negro played in this production.
